Please, please forgive any horrid mistakes, I've done my best but I know there are many on this site far more experienced and educated than me. They are primarily written for FFXIV (and a little behind in versions now but I will improve/update them when time allows) but the theory is the same across platforms and the visuals in the guide are still a decent representation of capabilities. I tried to copy majority of guides over to this site but sadly the images don't come across, rendering them useless. I would like to stress, I am no expert and I do not get paid to promote this, and yes MMOGames has horrid adverts in the background (I'm sorry!). Final Fantasy XIV will be getting a graphical update in the near future, so players might not even have to use a graphical add-on for much longer.These guides have been out for a while now and I was always apprehensive to post them here, as they are far from perfect but I poured my heart into producing them so I hoped perhaps they might be useful to others. Many players relied on GShade to make Final Fantasy XIV’s graphics better or help with disabilities, so the move back to ReShade can take some effort. Upon completing this task, you should be able to uninstall GShade properly to avoid leaving potential malware on your PC. Luckily, the community also has your back on exactly how to get this done safely. If you have yet to uninstall GShade and want to make sure that your presets work in Reshade, the easiest way is to backup your relevant GShade folders. A lot of other links only contain presets, which is not enough to get them to work without the proper shaders and textures. If you find yourself in this situation, the community has created a Google Drive Link that contains a pack with the various textures and shaders many popular presets utilized in GShade. This is an issue as there is no means to restore them once they are gone.
